Just curious, any idea what the square footage is for a class A? Say, 45' long. I mean living space. Like a house that has 2,000 square feet, etc.

I was thinking of people living full-time in a class A. That would prove that out houses are overkill way too big!

Length multiplied by width would tell you. Never seen one with an out house though

I know how to calculate sq feet! I didn't know the width, plus, you have slide-outs. Do any of those go from the floor?

Has anyone had one and get tired of it being so small? Do you spend a lot of time inside or most of waking hours outside?

I believe there is some regulation limiting RVs to 450 sq ft, otherwise they would be considered mobile homes and come under different regulations. So, 45 ft long and 8 1/2 ft wide is as big a chassis as you'll normally find. I believe somebody builds a 60 foot long rig, but I've never seen one. Slide outs apparently don't count in the regulations.

..Don't forget about any extra square footage being added to the floor plan when the slides are out.
