UPDATE ARM from SCREW-ON to newer CLIP-ON
The original screw-on replacement blade is becoming very hard to find.
This UP-DATE will allow you to find a replacement wiper blade at most any business that sells wiper blades. Federal-Mogul owns Anco that makes windshield wiper products found in the Federal-Mogul eCatalog Resource Center. Type in the following.

fmecat
Click on Heavy Truck picture. Type 4817 in part no. space.
Enlarge picture and print copy for reference.
The adapter kit 4817 is for the 9.5mm straight end wiper arms and available for $7.00.

What I just did was unscrew the pin holding the double screw connector and screw it into any windshield wiper with a hole in the center works perfect.

I like the looks of this part. It could work for my needs.

What I have is an old 1977 Champion Titan Motorhome(Chry/Dodge Frame).

It has a two piece flat windshield. The wiper blades are 3/4" wide inserts.
Impossible to find. The wiper arms are staight with a hole
at the end. the old metal wiper frame attaches with a shoulder nut
and washer. It bolts thru straight from the back side of the wiper.
The wiperblade frame basically has a threaded stud sticking out the back.

It looks like I can use this but wonder about the final position of
the replacement wiper arm. The old way you could adjust the wiper arm
360o's... This setup eliminates that adjustment. So instead of the
wiper laying horizontal or flat when off... looks to me like the blade
will be partially sticking up in my windshield all the time even when off.

Just wondering what your take is on that? Is this what most people
are doing to achieve functional wipers?
