Is there any toy hauler that will acommodate size and weight of a Jeep Rubicon? We've been trying our best to come up with something that we can use to haul our Jeep but also comfortable for camping and tailgating. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm beginning to think there's not anything out there.

Look at Forest River Work and Play line. Most have 5000 plus cargo carying capacity. They are not as fancy in the living area as the Fuzions, Velocitys and other but they are comfortable and built like a tank. Also try Featherlite, they make some nice car haulers with living quarters but they are pricey.

Look for race car trailers with living quarters. As mentioned the Work and Play and Featherlite are more a race car based trailer than the usual toy haulers.

Other brands like Haulmark, Pace American, etc. have living quarter options. Besides just having the living quarters the race car trailers can be ordered with various capacities. Heavier axles, suspension options are common. Will the tow hauler manufacturers give you the option of a heavier axle for example?

I have hauled my built CJ7 (1 ton axles, 42in tires, ect) in our Fuzion 382. The 382 was the only TH that had the inside length and carrying capacity to handle carrying the jeep. It's tight but it does fit. the jeep weighed 4880 lbs ready to wheel.

I am not sure how long the rubicon is but Heartland does make a Cyclone with a 14' garage with 3-7k axels. I would be most worried about the loading ramp capacity. Featherlite has some great options in their car hauler line with living quarters.

Ahem...
What year Rubicon? TJ or JK? Jeeps fit well in the SLC's, but since they are not made anymore you can probably find one up for sale and save a few bucks. The ramp is plenty strong on my 2006 with a 3000lb capacity.

Watch height in the dual Queen bunk models, they are only 77" off the floor and I cant load with the hard top anymore. I air down to keep the roll bars from rubbing the bed when loading.

I had the problem with the bunks hanging too low when putting my CJ7 in there. I flipped the little metal brackets over to raise the lower bed about 4 inches which provided just enough room to squeak in there.

My CJ was 13ft overall length with a 107 in wheel base and 42in tires. A 14 ft garage should be enough but you lose the ability to adjust for pin weight because you can't get the front of the jeep over the trailer axles. This might lighten the pin weight up too much. This is specifically why I hunted down one of the last Fuzion 382s to be sold.

As mentioned the ramp door will hold it because the weight of only one axle on the jeep goes over the door while loading. Also, the hold down straps take some work too and I found that many small straps worked better than a 4 big ones. I used 8 of the small straps down to the various floor hooks, and also strapped the suspension down a little to control the jeep swaying inside and smacking against the overhead compartments.

What's the weight? I carried my FToy (2950 lbs) with no issues in my 37 foot Attitude. Also had an 800 lb quad with full tanks, in addition to the FToy!!

I haul a 2003 Jeep Rubicon in mine with a 6" lift and 35" tires. You did not post if the Jeep is a JK, TJ or LJ. A short wheel base JK or TJ will fit but if you have an LJ or long wheel base JK I think you are out of luck in a Toyhauler.
